I get a reawakening when I hit that magical combination of floating someone just right, seeing their profound shift in being, making it all worth the years of training, house buying, pool building, marketing and all those first time sessions with people. I enjoyed reading your postings as they reflect how so many people feel when they share and receive Watsu. I'm looking forward to seeing more dialog about that here. Glad to note that you joined the Aquatic Bodyworkers group too.
Thanks also for posting photos of your venue. One of the biggest challenges for Watsu people is finding or creating places in which to practice. This is perhaps a topic for another Group (called 'Private pool facilities' and covering set up and running etc.?).
If you would like to take the plunge so to speak and start this (or a group of another topic that interests you) please do consider that. I'll be posting more ideas for groups soon and also information on how to do this (though that is all on the site also).
For those who do not know - Harbin Hot Springs referred to by Kim is where Watsu was developed by Harold Dull and where many of the trainings happen. You can find out more here WATSU.
Glad to have your input Kim, Sulis
I give a lot of introduction sessions, one first experience with watsu, he described feeling his spirit being kept expanding, beyond even the water. This person took quite a while to return enough to open his eyes. It's great to have this feedback after a session.
