Born in 1943 in Israel, Tuvia is the Director of the Aquatic Therapy Program at the Williams Island Therapeutic and Recreation Center at Beit Issie Shapiro, Raanana, Israel.
Beit Issie Shapiro is a leading community treatment and education center for children and adults with developmental disabilities in Israel. Over 1600 people are cared for in a multi-service center each month by a professional staff of 310 people.
The hydrotherapy center treats a range from infants aged 14 days up to adults and the aged. Over 700 patients are treated each week in a multi-disciplinary setting. The center serves also as a training program in aquatic therapy for students in the faculties Aand other related fields.
The Director of the Center, Tuvia Stuchiner, is a trained aquatic therapist, specializing in pediatrics, and neurological disorders. He is trained in Bad Ragaz, Halliwick and is a Watsu II instructor, in addition, he has developed a method of working with babies in a developmental approach in their first year of life.
In addition, Mr. Stuchiner serves as the Director of Aquatic Therapy Studies in the Trump International Institute of Continuing Education in Developmental Disabilities and has established basic and advanced courses in aquatic therapy for professionals throughout the world.
Mr. Stuchiner served as a consultant to Beit Levinstein Rehabilitation Hospital and other medical centers in Israel, as well as programs developing aquatic centers throughout the country. He is also Head of the Israeli Association of Hydrotherapists.

I have known of persons who sponsored and taught caregivers and those being given care to share Watsu(R)
It provides a sense of sharing and giving back for the caregiver to receive....
Other thought: to provide another opportunity nearby for the car…
