Jen,
Has Peggy Schoedinger referred you to Bob Scaer's work on PTSD? He helped me prepare for my presentation to NIH in 2007. Google him and you will find his website and writings. He helped me to understand how Watsu helps the brain repattern trauma.
Good luck!

Hi, Jen, Of course I've always thought of you as a friend, but am new to this social networking process. I'm sorry this class hasn't filled, but with the interest from folks like you, Sulis, Laura, and Bonnie, maybe we can move forward with our trauma healing planning and integrate the elements of energy healing needed in that. More like a mentorship program than a formal 50-hr class. I know you've had Jim's classes so are not new to energy work. Let's just keep this idea open and when a critical mass is reached, we'll have a class.

Hello Jen and welcome - you've found friends already! I know Diane would like you to join the Aquatic Trauma Healing Group which you can do simply by going to the Group page (see tabs at the top of this page) and following the instructions to Join (just a click really). Being a member of a group allows you to post comments there. You can also start your own if and when you feel inspired.

Your website is intriguing - do you write a blog? You have the opportunity to write one here on this page about your aquatic work.

Glad to have you with us. Sulis (Moderator)

I have known of persons who sponsored and taught caregivers and those being given care to share Watsu(R) It provides a sense of sharing and giving back for the caregiver to receive.... Other thought: to provide another opportunity nearby for the car…
