Claudia Salzmann ( neat eh?) instructed me along with 3 other RMTs in her pool in Ontario. She is a hero for me, as she opted not to trade mark aquatic massage therapy (the adaptation of a mix of Wausu and Jahara) to our scope of practice for the greater good of our profession.
I have already sent the invite to her, to some collegues as well.
Hello Andrea,
Thanks so much for creating this web site. It's truely amazing, I found this by accident, and feel as though a whole new world has opened up for me! Aquatic Massage Therapy has been one of the best things that has happened to me. I am certainly one of those that gets to go to work feeling like im going to play. Looking forward to talking with everyone and learning all that I can.
Are RMT's allowed to take the Pediatric courses? I couldn't see any prerquisit information that mentioned you need to be a PT.
Hello Andrea: Happy new year!. I wanted to do a question. How have I to do to buy the dvd of sensory integration? I am from Argentina. Thank you very much and good beginning of year
We did talk to Laurie briefly about our pools, so I'm sure we'll be in touch more about that! Our health system is currently building a new therapy pool and I imagine that location is probably where we would hold a conference. I don't know what the expected completion date is, but we'll keep our eye on it.

New understanding of PTSD and the aquatic work of members Diane Tegtmeier and Inika Spence, indicate the potential application of aquatic therapy in healing trauma. This Group has been created to explore and promote that.
This group could explore, discuss and learn from each other the many benefits of working in warm water with the approach that humans have potential to recognize the potential for movement and alignment in the physical, emotional and energetic body.
