- How are you involved in aquatic therapy?
- Terry Shepherd is the President and Owner of Aquatic Health and Rehabilitation (AH&R). She has owned the company more than five years and has many years of experience in other facilities in the area. Terry is a UCF graduate and a graduate of the University of St. Augustine holding multiple degrees from BS to Doctor of Science in various health related fields. She also holds multiple certifications including WATSU, Ergonomics, Strain/Counterstrain, Manual and Aquatic Therapy and is trained and has been practicing McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis Therapy for Spine and Extremities for eight years. She is also highly trained through continuing education in all areas as well.

- Our pool is outdoors kept at 92 degrees, 4 1/2 feet in depth, 20 x 40

- Terry holds bi weekly courses at our facility as well as comunity teaching
- What unique products or services do you offer:
- Our facilities (there are two) offer land, water, massage and speech therapy designed for the individual needs and goals of each patient. Our staff is professional and caring – they know what they are there for and help the patient to function again as well as learning ways to maintain that functionality. Through their encouragement, patients reach levels that many thought they’d never see again.
