Hello!

I am a certified aquatic massage therapist from Tucson and I will be moving to Northern California, Sonoma County (Rohnert Park, south of Santa Rosa) at the beginning of November. I would love to continue practicing aquatic massage and I am looking for a pool to rent. I would also love to get in touch with other Aquatic/ Watsu practitioners in the area. I would appreciate very much any ideas or suggestions about how to find a pool appropriate for massage. Thank you. Monika mszumila@gmail.com

Hi Monika,

Have you tried FindaPool? It's another service of the Aquatic Resources Network to help people find warm water therapy pools. Go to www.findapool.com and enter the zipcode of the area you want. If you enter the first 3 digits of the 5-digit code, you will get a wider area. You can also search by area code, city name, etc.

Good luck! Andrea Salzman, Aquatic Resources Network

There is also the Worldwide Aquatic Bodywork Association. Members share information about pool availability (not public though). Since it is based in Northern CA, you might find that helpful. You could contact Inika on this network for more. Lovely area to move to!

I have known of persons who sponsored and taught caregivers and those being given care to share Watsu(R) It provides a sense of sharing and giving back for the caregiver to receive.... Other thought: to provide another opportunity nearby for the car…
