Hi Mary, I am the supervisor of Aquatics at Verity Club for women in Toronto. I teach aquafit (certified through CALA and WaterART) plus PT in the water and swimming lessons (Red Cross). I hope to connect with others who offer water workouts to help expand my business and gain more insight into the industry. I used to be a producer at Discovery Channel and now I'm working in the water as much as possible trying to make a career change because I love it so much.
Warmest regards,
Hi Lindsay, I used to work in the investment business - Bay Street - but retired a few months ago. Now I teach some aquafit and work part time as a Personal Trainer. I would like to get more involved in aquafit just like you do. This weekend, in fact, I am taking an aqua jogging/running course in Mississauga to expand my horizons and capacities.
I am Cala certified and have other certs from Canfitpro, Fitnesskickboxing and Twist. I am focussing on the Older Adult demographic. I would like to connect to compare notes and insights.
I have just taught Watsu North of Toronto.
There is also a Spa in Quebec intersted in the Watsu Spa Provider Program.

I have known of persons who sponsored and taught caregivers and those being given care to share Watsu(R)
It provides a sense of sharing and giving back for the caregiver to receive....
Other thought: to provide another opportunity nearby for the car…
This group is for discussions about the practice and promotion of aquatic bodywork in spas, other leisure settings, and private venues. A place to share some of the issues faced and support each other.
For pediatric aquatic therapists/instructors who work with children on the autism spectrum. We will be sharing our coolest treatment ideas and creating a mock protocol for the infant, toddler, and school aged child demonstrating autism traits.
