My ribs in the chest where the sternum should be rub against each other and are uncomfortable.
My aorta was repaired and my sternum was removed May/June 2008. Due to the removal of the sternum an abdominal muscle was re-located to the central area in the chest to protect the heart and stabilize the ribs.
I have now healed sufficiently to engage in physical rehabilitation. I am looking for someone that understands the exercise regimens for increasing the torso strength and the strength in the abdominal muscle now in the chest.
